Lailah Gifty Akita
Dr. F. Nana Ofosu-Amaah—fondly known as Dr. Nana—is the founder/owner of 3SPokeLLC, a research-based strategy, operations, and creative consulting firm. With over 25 years of cross-sector leadership, Dr. Nana has bridged engineering, business, technology, education, and social impact.
She began her career designing and testing trucks at Ford Motor Company before moving into appropriate technology, global consulting, and senior management roles at Hewlett-Packard. Her path eventually led to public service through the Broad Residency for Urban Education, where she shaped early childhood and family engagement strategies in major school districts, namely for New York City and Newark, NJ. She now channels her multidisciplinary experience into systems-level consulting and creative problem-solving for mission-driven organizations. She also serves as the acting CFOO for The AfriWomen Network and the Senior Research Advisor to the Nubian Foundation/NubianVR-Ghana. She is an avid nature photographer, a professed doodler, and an advocate for persons with special needs.
Dr. Nana holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University (BSME), a Master of Management (MBA) from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and a Doctorate in Education (EdD) from Seton Hall University. She continues to learn and develop new knowledge and skills, recently completing IDEO U's AI X Design THINKING WORKSHOP SERIES (February 2025)
